This cutie is made from a combination of baby and toddler clothes. I am loving the items of clothing we used for this one – particularly that Teletubbies t-shirt. Remember the Teletubbies? My son loved them! But as weird as that show seemed at the time, I think it actually seems even weirder in retrospect… who came up with that one???

This baby clothes memory quilt also gave me lots of opportunities to capture things like ruffles, pleats, pockets and buckles in this quilt top – all the fun stuff!

This quilt is a large throw, requiring about 30-40 items of clothes. Of course, you can always send more – I LOVE having tons of clothes to work with!

Hey there, Jelly Bean Quilt fans! Did you know I make more than just baby clothes quilts – I also make t-shirt quilts! A t-shirt quilt is perfect for high school or college graduation, sorority/fraternity t-shirts, or to preserve a collection of race, event, vacation or concert tee shirts.

Here is a great example of a graduation t-shirt quilt made entirely out of high school sports t-shirts. I can incorporate any type of fabric, including jerseys and dry-fit style shirts.

A t-shirt quilt is really the perfect way to save things like jerseys, practice tee shirts, and uniforms. These types of items are much too sentimental to give away or toss, and are a little too personal to give to Goodwill (especially if they have your last name on them!) Baby Memory Quilt

Hey friends! Here’s another baby memory quilt from the Jelly Bean Quilts archives! I have hundreds of pictures of baby memory quilts I’ve created over the last decade, and it’s time for me to get them onto the blog! 🙂

You can see how I save all the cutest details from each item of clothing, including appliques, pockets, ruffles, bow & more! Certain items like hats can be appliqued to the top – on this memory quilt we even appliqued part of a stuffed animal! This quilt also has a name added via applique, which is a fun extra.

Baby Memory Quilt

Another cute detail on this baby memory quilt is the flower girl dress, which originally was a very puffy, gorgeous little dress with layers & layers of tulle. The other layer of tulle actually was looped around and contained tons of free-floating flower petals, so I created a square capturing these flower petals in the tulle just like in the original dress!

Here’s a baby clothes blanket I created from a combination of girl & boy clothes. A brother-sister baby clothes blanket is a great way to save all those precious memories into one giant blanket you can snuggle up with!
