Did you know I create all types of memory quilts from adult & child’s clothing – not just baby clothes quilts? It’s true! Memory quilts are a fantastic and meaningful way to remember a loved one. Clothing holds so many memories – why not create something tangible you can use and cherish everyday!
These 2 memory quilts were created from a variety of t-shirts, jerseys, plaid shirts, flannel shirts and polos. These quilts are both large throws created from adult clothing, requiring about 15 items of clothing each. Of course, you can always send more – I LOVE having tons of clothes to work with!
When you’re creating multiple quilts out of one person’s clothes, you can either send in all the clothing in one box and I can split each item between all the quilts, or you can split the items into different bags within the box so that each quilt is made from specific clothing. Or you can even do a combo – select a few important pieces for each quilt, and then the rest I can split and divide between all the quilts!
