Hey guys,

Just created this fun little promo video with my daughter Kalista! We talk a little bit about why you should create a baby clothes quilt, we check out her baby clothes quilt, and I explain the process of ordering a baby clothes quilt from Jelly Bean Quilts.

I really think making videos brings out my midwestern accent… I am from northern Iowa, so I guess maybe I have a touch of Minnesotan, but man – I can really hear it in this video! 😉 I guess my Texan husband is right – I have an accent!

Tooth Fairy Pillow – Live & In Action!

Yesterday was a big day at Jelly Bean Quilts… my 4-year-old daughter Kalista lost her very first tooth!!!!

This was all very exciting for all of the obvious big-girl-now reasons (although she is a little sad because she “really loved her little tooth & will miss it so much!”) But I had some extra reasons to be excited… she finally got to use her tooth fairy pillow!

Of course we had to have a little fresh-out-of-the-bath, bedtime photo shoot! 🙂

We just slipped the tooth in the little pocket (easier than the old under-the-pillow method for everyone involved – most of all the tooth fairy!) and the tooth fairy did her thang & left Kalista a federal reserve note of her very own.

Memories were made, everyone was happy, and my little baby is growing up too fast!!!
