Jamie Wilson is the owner of JellyBeanQuilts.com, where she quilts full time, creating modern memory quilts out of baby clothes for customers around the world.
Jamie has always been a sewing, crafting & art fanatic, and starting helping her mom and grandma sew at age 8. An avid 4-Her, Jamie spent many a summer’s day creating crafty projects for the county fair. She developed her passion for quilting in high school; she even convinced her principal to let her make a quilt for credit as an independent study class!
She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Drake University, but not without bringing her sewing machine to college and earning the nickname Martha Stewart from her sorority sisters. (Jamie still takes this as the ultimate compliment, by the way.)
After college, Jamie worked in web design and internet marketing. In early 2008 she decided to turn her hobby into a business and developed her website, JellyBeanQuilts.com.
She has created hundreds of Jelly Bean Quilts for customers across the United States, and even as far away as Australia, Canada, Luxembourg, Dubai, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and the UK.
Jamie is also a published author, recently releasing a book on how to create your own baby clothes quilt at home. Create Your Own Baby Clothes Quilt is available in ebook and hard copy on ListaLu.com & Amazon.com
